Meeting the Family

While I've been fortunate enough to have already met a good portion of Alex's family (I wish he could say the same for mine), today I got to meet even more of it. On our way to Santa Barbara, we stopped in to see Alex's grandma Betty. She was really sweet and did what I remember best about my grandmas: she kept offering us delicious treat after delicious treat. I also got to meet Susanne, Alex's aunt; Evan and Hailey, her kids and Alex's cousins; and their wealth of pets. Everyone was just wonderful, and meeting them made for a really special day.
