Alex and I owe so much thanks to Sora, Laura, and Beth (and Tim!) for hosting an amazing engagement party for us this weekend. A good number of bay area friends joined us at Tim's fancy apartment in the heart of San Francisco for good food, a seemingly endless amount of wine and champagne, and lots of stories.
The centerpiece of the party was a larger-than-life photo of Alex and me hanging above the mantle. It's now being proudly displayed in my living room.
Thank you to everyone who made the trek into the city. It was great to see all of you. Let's find a good reason to meet up again soon...
